Act against climate change.

Climate change is caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, one of them being CO2.

During their growth phase, Jatropha trees absorb and capture the carbon dioxide we are emitting while we are travelling, producing energy or products.

At a mature stage Jatropha's seeds are also used to produce carbon neutral biofuel which will replace polluting fossil fuel.

Consequently Jatropha trees offer the unique possibility of reducing the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and contribute significantly to the abatement of global warming.

Experts estimate that every plant can reduce 150kg of CO2 over its lifetime of 40 years.
